Add Newline at Character

Problem

When editing markdown I try to keep paragraph lines at 80 characters. (When the markdown is rendered it ignores single newlines in paragraphs, and this is a way to keep the markdown source easier to parse)

VG “ to enter visual mode and select the content below the cursor holy moley am i rite? gq “ format

:set tw=80 How do I quickly apply an 80char limit in Vim?

Solution Action in Vim: from normal mode: gq80l Use the dot command to

perform on later paragraphs .
